If by "bring our own music" you mean that your niece sings to a pre-recorded track, then yes, you should. We don't have anything like karaoke equipment, but if you bring a small CD player or iPod or mp3 player, we can usually play it through the speakers. You just show up, and sign the list… it helps to be there by 7:30.

Kids are most definitely welcome, we've had a 10-year old on Tuesday night a few months ago, as well as some younger teens. I can't speak for Bryan (host on Friday) but it shouldn't be a problem. But be advised that an occasional singer may drop an inappropriate lyric from time to time, but usually after 10pm.
