- Jim, Appreciate the comment. It's called open mic night for a reason:) Regarding guitar players; It's limited to 2 on stage at a time prefaced with a reminder about listening to each other and if they're backing a vocalist your job is to follow and support them. AND if you can't hear everyone else on the stage… turn down. Unfortunately that does have to be reinforced for a lot of players at an open mic pro or not. I also insist they tune their instruments before they get on stage… baby steps. My thought on open mic is that it is a vehicle for honing your craft, getting new ideas, networking, occasionally achieving synergy and recognizing the whole is indeed greater then the sum of its' parts. Anyway Jim, come on back and we'll have some fun.

Usually 3 songs at a time, but it is certainly flexible.
There is full backline; PA and at least (2) Rivera guitar amps, GK bass rig and a full drum set. On the first Friday of the month the sets are recorded for the artists.

I am interested in the open mic night. How many tunes does a band or soloist get to play? Is there a sign up sheet? Also what is there for gear? I.E. guitar amps, bass amps drums and PA? Thanks!
