This was a cool open mic and the host was very nice. There wasnt alot of people at the bar (around 4) but at least they clapped and listened to what you had to play. The sound system was pretty nice and it was a smaller place so the sound played well. The picture they have up labled the van goes is NOT the stage. It is a one floor bar with enough room to not feel cramped but nothing to to large. Overall Trent rating 8.5

If anything this Open Mic Night has gotten better over time. A lot of great local musicians appear each week. There is a great crowd. Steve keeps things flowing. The sound system is nice. The atmosphere is very friendly. And they have great food! Have a nice steak and stick around for the music!

Man, what does this Open Mike --not-- offer? Week in and week-out you will see: Fantastic music by artists of varying talents, tastes, and demeanors; Special guest apperances by stand-up comedy maverick Ralph "Mikey" Coyne that you have to witness in person to truly grasp--but I've seen his act and can testify to it's unspeakable greatness; "Ace" Bartender M.P. Davitt flipping bottles with the greatest of ease and pourning the strongest drink Wu-side of the Dirty South--and that's not even mentioning the dank yet nostalgic atmosphere--1.50 pints--5.00 shots of PItron--3.00 shot of Celtic Crossing--what could go wrong? Plus--every week Bulman drives from Quakertown to the Wu (marking the trail of the upcoming Q2Wu tour) to bring the sickest Wu-flavored jams to hit your ears in a number of years. And what's wrong with that? Just some old-fashioned young Americans trying to have a good-time and spread good-will in a non-violent fashion. The Answer: there ain't a god damn thing wrong about that at all, not --at-- all.

This open mic is great time. The crowd is always receptive and welcoming. Most everything is supplied except for a bass amp. Bass players can choose to bring a amp or plug into the board. The choice is yours. Just recently we have added a house drum set but drummers can bring there own cymbals, kick pedal ect. if they'd like. So come share a good time w/ all of us at Richies Bar and Grill. If you need more info visit… http://www.stevebulman.com/id2.html
