Anonymous (1/2008): This open mic has been moved to Sunday nights from 8pm till midnight or later depending on the turnout.
Gustavo Rodriguez (10/2006): A message from the host, Jimmy Artarche: I wanted to let everyone know that i'm starting up another open mic in astoria. It's going to be on Tuesdays at a very cool bar called "The Quays". It's on 45th street and 30th Ave. The R train stops at 46th st and the N stop at 30ave would both take you there. The bar is a absolutely great location for an open mic with a good sound system & elevated stage-like area. Also the bar has the best buy back policy you're ever gonna find in a bar, i'm sure of it!! It starts at 9pm and will go till 12 or so I imagine.
