Wow, how do you respond to someone like "Anonymous"? Musicians are the same as sandwich makers?

I didn't study my art for 40 years to be compared to a sandwich maker.

Sorry us musicians have "bothered" you while you're eating your sandwich. Maybe you should get take out and go home to watch TV. I think there's a wrestling match on today.

It's been years since I've played there but I'll always fondly remember that tiny little stage and the people who really seemed to appreciate a song while that had dinner and conversation.

so could you bring a little mixer like a Behringer and mix your gt and vocal then put it thru the PA?, if so that would solve your "vocal only" problem,

AND

in all fairness, not EVERYONE likes the musicians SHOUTING in their ears, after all, it is a sandwich shop where people come to eat, have quiet conversations, etc,

personally i'm really sick of wearing earplugs so i can go get a sandwich - if i want to listen i will, and if i don't well i'll leave before i'll shout over your PA system, AND - musicians aren't

GODS, they're employees, just like the sandwich makers, be grateful you have a place to play at all

Musicians are employees! My God! What planet does this person come from. Most musicians play for tips, and practice for many years and never stop. And how long does it take to learn to make a sandwich. Obviously a coward as left message anonymously

played there on the 9th of june and again tonight (june 23rd) and the first time was alot of fun, we brought our own pa system (small system) and everything was fine, we got to play a 1/2 hour set. this time was not so good we were the only people to play tonight and we had the same system set at the same levels and they told us that it was too loud we couldnt use it… the manager there as a jerk safe to say i wont play there again

They have a PA, and a Mic, but only one input that is hard wired into the wall. The PA is throughout the restaraunt, and the one of the places that it's loudest is in the bathroom! They also pipe it out front where there are a couple of tables to sit at in nice weather. If you use the mic for singing, and bring a small amp for your instrument, be aware that only you vocals will be heard outside and in the bathroom. The room has lots of hard surfaces, so it sound bright and there is ample natural reverb.
