LAME!!- I show up at 9:15 & wait around until 10PM. No show.

Bartender did not know where you guys where either (did you lose your cell phone?). It's a shame as it is a hip bar w/good beers. Maybe they need a new reliable host for this open mic? Maybe this room could be a new gig for Mr. Open Mic- Phil Stahl? Big Bummer dudes…

This open mic is held more like a big gathering of musical friends than your traditional sign-up-and-play-your-set open mics. It's listed as an "open jam" which is very accurate. The musicians set up their instruments and just free-form jam away. If the energy's there, the vibe is incredible as people feed off each others' ideas and musicality. People there are very friendly about taking turns; just be assertive. Definitely a jam for musicians who love jamming, and not for the kind who want to drop in, play three songs and jet.
