Still going strong. A comfortable and friendly venue. They do an internet broadcast of your performance, you can tell your friends to tune it in.

I am writing to inquire about your open mike nights! With us not being familiar with the Grand Rapids area, I am wondering if all genres are allowed? What time do Open Mikes usually start? How do you get signed up? and Do we need to bring anything such as labtop, Mic, Cords, etc?

We would like to bring you some R&B/Hip Hop. We are excited to share our music with you and your audience, we promise there will be no disappointments!

The Phoenix is one of those wonderfully comfortable places that is only open when there is an event. Losts of sofas and stuffy chairs, but no stuffy people. Since the Phoenix doesn't really sell anything, there is a $3 cover to help pay the electric bill, the sound man, etc…
