This open mike starts at 8PM now.I've been playing there over a year almost every week.Great atmosphere and sound system and host Rob H good crowd can be a little noisy but sound man Tom compensates for that.One of my favorite places to play because i get good feedback on my new songs that i write.In fact I've written several there and played them the same night!Great food as well! rozanne (9/2007): Great open mic! A very appreciative audience and pretty decent sound. A lot of travelers this past week, people from all corners and a very good talent level. Short list, unfortunately (I think things actually get started at around 8pm and they cut off at 11) they only got to about 9 people when I was there. Decent set length at 4-5 songs, which i think is variable depending on attendence. A fun night, Rob is a friendly and accomodating host.
rob ilyAIMY (9/2007): Peach's is definitely in my top 3 of open mics in Ohio. The sound system is awesome (4 monitors right on stage) and the soundman (Dan) is attentive. The crowd varies from week to week. One week it'll be packed full of people that are listening, one week full of people that aren't. But, I've never seen an artist that no one applauded. The time has moved to 9:30, but get there early; the beer is good.
