- Attended this open mic 2/1/2012. MC Larry runs a good open mic and adds color with some banter and a brief interview of each performer. He even does some accompaniment from the sound booth on guitar and keybd if warranted - some performers may not like that - I didn't mind. Sound is good and managed well by Larry. Good musicians all around here. Signup is at 8:30PM with a random drawing of names. You get 2 songs or 3 "ditties". Well attended - some attendees could not perform. I did a solo harmonica/singing thing. Recommended.

- Dear fellow musicians. an out of work, out of a vehicle, out of a drumset former 70's jazz and rock drummer is looking for something to do. I would love to give it a try again and see what could happen. Did have some club experience recently up at Tahoe. It was much fun.

- Its an alright place, but i must foreworn if you make anydrive to this place you only get 2 songs which isnt worth it when Larry the host talks so much (He likes the sound of his own voice)by the time it starts there no garentee that you'll get to play. Theres a random drawing not first come first serve for poeple that make the drive out. I recommend for Sacramento open mikes -Fox and goose- Coffee Garden (which has a great host and set up)and the Stoney Inn.
