- I've been to alot of jams. And the jam at the Old Bowie Town Grille is possibly the best one I have ever been to. Chip Clemmer is an excellent host. He keeps the volume at a reasonable level and makes sure everybody gets a chance to play. The food is excellent, especially the steak. If you have never been to this jam you ought to check it out.
Roy Brooks (8/2008)- I'm confused - how does an individual get to sing a particular song?
Anonymous (7/2008)
Is there a drum set there to use or do you bring your own… ??? Thank you…
Andy "Sheriff" Taylor (4/2008)- Good jam on Wednesday the 26th. A few new faces and that constant high energy, high caliber music. Damn this is a good thing.
Strathog (3/2008)-
The WEDNESDAY BLUES JAM SESSION adds a new dimension to our LIVE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM and differs from an Open Mic Format in that a Full Professional Band is at the disposal of the Jam Participants. The Wednesday Night Blues Jam is open to serious Blues Players of all ages and skill levels and Acoustic and Electric Instruments are welcome. This is a group jam session and therefore solo performances and original material are not possible in most cases.
The objective of the Wednesday Night Blue Jam is to attract serious Blues Players of all ages and experience levels where veteran musicians continue to hone their skills while helping young and aspiring Blues Players raise their skill and confidence levels in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Bob Thompson, Co-Owner (3/2008)
