Yeah… I was there also and encountered the half song open mic… Its for a listenning audience only
Anonymous (8/2008): yeah they dont do "open Mics"… I was there a while back and paid the 15.00 charge to see the openning act, and the short knucklehead running the show couldnt even remember the openning acts name, by the end of the night he was calling him by the name of the next mos act… dont plan on an open mic… they may or maynot allow one…
Tyson Preble (1/2008): This coffeehouse, which is held the first Saturday of each month from September through May, has an open mike in between the two sets from the evening's performer. One song. Admission to the show is typically $10; the 2006-7 season features folks like Barbara Phaneuf, Don White, Bernice Lewis and Dave Crossland. Music starts at 8.
