Great Open Mic. Very friendly to the performers. Nice relaxed setup. The crowd and other performers really get into the acts. Highly recommend
Stu (9/2008): I had a great time at O'brien's. Crowd was young but friendly, and I had the pleasure of listening to some really talented young people. I play an entirely different style than but I was well received. Everyone was very supportive and respectful. I'll be back.
Bill Walper (3/2008): I suppose folk music--even plugged in--is not looked on favorably? I do some mildly amusing songs that seem to hit with a lot of crowds, but what do YOU say about it?
Mike Reed (6/2007): Great place full of young, creative people who make you feel welcomed… even if you're an old fart. Great place to try out your new stuff, originals or covers.
G.H. Ruth (11/2006): One of the friendlier open mics around - if you're good people will respond regardless of style & taste differences. If you're not-so-good but trying people will respond for the display of balls & effort. As noted above, the room is small, but very inviting - it's a good little pub. And the girls are purty too ;)
