Hi, my name is Miriam and I am 13 years old. I sing and play guitar and write music and I wanted to know if you have some sort of age you have to be to perform or do I need to send in a disc or demo or sign up somewhere or anything? I would really like to start to perform and get some experience if I could. My uncle or parents would be taking me and they like the idea.

I am writing for my daughter she is an amazing singer I am trying to get her some exposure. She doesn"t have her own original song, but can belt out some amazing songs. She is 18 years old but I would love to have other people hear what I hear when she sings. Please let me know what the procedure is. Does she have to sign up in advance bring sheet music, do you have a band or would she need to bring music. Please let me know you won"t be disappointed… Her name is Gabby

i noticed on the event page on the nyorican's website that this show features "young" talent. what exactly is considered "young"? i dunno if i bang with a crowd that's teen-aged… but then again, the time the show is taking place tells me that this should be a 20-something crowd? please advise :)
