My name is Marco Viccaro I'm a singer/guitarist from Rome Italy I am here until mid MARCH.I am looking for a venue to showcase my music. What do I need to do partecipate for open mic night?? Thank you ,Marco Viccaro
MARCO (3/2010): Mostly for poets, but I sang there too. $10 min. at the bar and not a lot of people, but other than that -- OK. I guess if you write good lyrics, there are people there that can appreciate it.
Vadim (3/2009): su does a great job.
Robin Green (8/2008): $10 minimum at the Bar!
jake (7/2008): I have attended twice and really love the friendly, supportive atmosphere. I went first to hear a friend read and then went back to read myself. Both times fun. Listening to poetry for hours is a bit intense but there are some really good writers out there. Nice place to break yourself into the scene if you want your work heard or are preparing to go on the circuit of open mikes. Hosts are really nice and committed to their poetry and others.
