I think the guy who runs it (they call him "open Mike" may be a little drunk or out of it because he seems to take people out of order (and put his friends on first), but the crowd at the bar turns around and listens so you're not just playing to the backs of heads. Only real problem is there is no place nearby to park (lot next to the building only holds about 6 cars and it's always full).
Buzz (11/2009): Starts late and runs long, but it can be wonderful. There's a "Songwriter Showcase" at 9:00, featuring a local talent, and the audience is always great and definitely there for the music.
