- great sound system, friendly and talented players, decent drink prices, nice crowd
Kevin Roney (12/2009)- This open mike has changed over the past 3 years… There's no prize offered for best performance anymore… (that was entirely too hard to judge-so much talent;-)The Rebel Boys are co- hosts bi-weekly now, along with original host Acoustic Stories and it gets going 'round 9:30-ish but sign-up is still 9pm… Still the one of the best open mikes around and well worth checking out!!
Christopher St.Onge (4/2009)- I am secretly attending open mics listed on this site. I am giving an honest review on everyone's Mic. So far I have found most open mics starting much later than stated. So, If you plan on coming to this event, get there an hour or so later than stated… This is a smoking environment. This may be a good summer mic. The worst thing that can happen is you get drunk. What I've noticed about most musicians at bar open mics is they are professional drinkers verses professional musicians. My summary: Pros: Cozy Bar, Friendly Cons: Smoke, Alcohol, Late Not my top pick, but give them a chance.
Eric (4/2008)- sounds like a cool place, will check it out.
Eric (3/2008)- Great Atmosphere, alcohol and snacks are served, smoking allowed, great sound system. 21 and up. Everyone is treated like family and a star.
Maria Wade (12/2007)
How many songs are allowed by a performer? And on a typical night, about how may performers show up?
Dar Mamassian (1/2008)- Hey Dar, we usually give about 15 minutes to a performer sometimes 1 extra song if the crowd responds well and if your a "virgin" to our night… We get anywhere from 5 or 6 performers to a packed house ( we actually had some people show up to late to get on the list… so show early 'round 9pm and get on the list!!
