This is a true jazz jam. Cool cats playing with no PA except for vocals. Singers, horns, keys, drums and guitars welcome. A very cool setting reminicant of a NY Style jazz club… without the smoke! Right on Rt 3A, next to Pizzeria Uno and the fire station, near the Weymouth rotary (Fore river bridge)Plenty of free parking. No cover. Get jazzed up here.

We are starting a jazz jam next Wednesday 4/18 and every Wednesday night thereafter at a new club/lounge in Quincy called My House Lounge. It's located @ 609 Washington (3A). We have been the featured act at the club and are now trying to get more people in the door and more people to jam with. I am a vocalist and will be MCing the event. This will not be just a vocal jazz jam although singers are always welcome. The place is very swanky on the inside-it's like a New York Lounge, and they have nice cocktails and pizza. There is also a state of the art PA system and a stage so all you have to do is bring your axe and/or voice and plug in. No need for mics.

The first jazz jam starts Wednesday April 18th. Doors open at 8, we kick it off at 9, and then open the floor to all. We would love for you to come by and join in. It's free-so bring your friends! The owner of the club is trying to bring a little jazz to Quincy-so it would be great if we could support his efforts to promote jazz. Jams are a great way to collaborate as you know and meet people-my husband Tim and I met at a jam along with our drummer, Renato Malavasi. We are hoping to recreate this positive atmosphere… in this very hip spot. Please bring multiple copies of the tunes you want to do in the keys you are comfortable in. The house band is comfortable with all genres of jazz from be-bop to swing along with funk, soul, blues, and latin. All are welcome, all will play!

However, please no blues or rock… we are looking to boost the jazz scene in the South Shore!
