This open mic has just been revamped. It isn't called open mic anymore- they call it "Open Milk". The previous format allowed for only one song per act but now they cap the number of people signing up at 10 and allow 3 songs a piece. The list goes out at six and the show starts at seven. Definitely a cool little venue.
Frankie B. (3/2008): The host is very funny and the people are cool and supportive.
india (8/2007): this place was awesome. it was a great place, loaded with talent, as well as a comfortable setting. All different types of music. only negative is that there is so much good talent that you can only play one song. p.s. best unsweetened iced tea (haha)
Chris (9/2006): this open mic has more of a social scene than a music scene. when i went there the place was exploding with talent. the problem was the sound of the voices speaking overpowered all of the music. also the host of this open mic is oozing with ego. you would be better off finding a smaller open mic where people will actually be able to hear your music.
