Is this open mic exclusively for music or does it have poetry as well??
Aimee Harrison (2/2010): I went on 3/13/06. Start time is 10pm, not 9:30, though it was 15-20 minutes late last night. It was decent. (I prefer a more folkie style open mike.) One major annoyance is the overpowering sound from the band that was playing downstairs. (This venue has multisections for bands to play.) This definately took away from the intimate setting that (I feel) is ideal for an open mike night.
