This was not your usual open mike, it's a full on jam. I was stunned by how good these players were, many were pros taking a break from touring. Heavy electric blues and funk, no cover and shazammm!

Last nights Jam was excellent. Steve's son took a break from studying and sat in on drums and did a very nice job. I found the sound last night too, my little Crate V16 produced some very nice tone and the right amount of spunginess when I brought the volume on the guitar down about 3/4. It was great. You know they run your amp through the PA, the the V16, I couldn't hear it on stage but I could here it out front, sounded big. I'm telling you that is something you just can't get at home in the basement. Steve kicked butt too, we tried dueling guitars and it wasn't bad. I think he's very good at that sort of thing and me, I've been playing by myself for so long I've lost the skill. Maybe I can recover if I keep going to the Jam. You tell me. Anyway, lots of fun, hope this thing keeps rocking along. No where else I'd rather be on Tuesday night.

Probably the best jam I've ever been to. Steve Johnson is versatile, knows all the standards and lots more. Excellent player with lots of surprises. Professional sound stage with lots of room, great amps. I highly recommend this venue.
