This has turned into one of the best open mikes around. This is a very friendly crowd and the sound is excellent. The audience is very respectful of the musicians. I have a great time when I play here and look forward to returning.

Great open mike. The audience listens to the music, and you can bring your kids (games provided to keep them quiet)!

No bar - so people are there for the music. Very appreciative, supportive room. Mostly acoustic folk/country/singer-songwriter performers. Good sound system (even some lights!). Host Jon Godfrey is great. Have played before, will play again.

Everyone gets the same amount of TIME to perform. Minimum 15 minute sets. Play two 7.5 minute songs, three 5 minute songs, five three-minute songs or any other combination totaling 15 minutes. Sign up between 7 and 7:30. Names will be drawn to determine performance order. Anyone arriving after 7:30 is added to the end. PA, monitors, and lighting provided. Email janglenh@gmail.com for further questions. The Masonic Hall is 100 yards south of the intersection of South Road and Rte. 27 (High Street) in Candia. Seating for about 50. Refreshments.
