So I'm thinking about finally putting all this crap that I've written down for years on stage and try to jump start a stand up life. How is Martini Red for stand up? Is the place a bit of a free for all?

This is a fun open-mic. Lots of laughs and friendly crowd. It's hosted by either Tim Duffy or the indomitable T-Squared. Unique cast of characters like Moondog Matt, Phoebe Blue, Tommy Bones, 12-String Frank, Silas and his karaoke machine, General Mills, and the unforgettable Terrible Tim! There are two rooms, one for the bar and conversation, and one for the stage and playing. Starts around 10:45 p.m.
