Nothing to add in terms of quality. This place has it. Second only in SW Michigan to the Acorn Theater's open mic. I would stress the early arrival to out of towners.

An excellent venue and very supportive crowd (mostly musicians). Pro sound man and gracious host. Mostly acoustic with a mix of covers and originals. Some excellent performers appear on a regular basis. Sign up at 7, starts at 8, by 7:30 all the slots before 10 are usually booked. Open jam after the last performer. Micro-brewed beer on tap.

This is a great venue for open mic: immaculate room, nice stage and sound system, and everyone from the host to the staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. Lots of great musicians from various backgrounds and an appreciative audience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
