Theresa (6/2007): This is a great venue for open mic: immaculate room, nice stage and sound system, and everyone from the host to the staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. Lots of great musicians from various backgrounds and an appreciative audience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
Jim (11/2005): Here's the details: Sign up begins at 7:00pm, open mic starts at 8:00pm till 11:30 or so. Players get 15 minutes to do their thing for an appreciative audience. This is a free to play and free to listen event.
Venitia Sekema (10/2005): This is a premier open mike located in a turn of the century building in the Arts District of Benton Harbor, better known to the locals as "Bungtown". The stage rocks with state of the art EV mikes, speakers, mons, you name it, plus a sound booth and a great sound man running it. Get there early to sign up and get a good seat. This is a non-smoking venue, has great micro-brews, and a cool vibe.
