This open mic is the best. For a little while I wondered why so many went to it. After my performance Last Monday I now know. Jimmie is the best host in the world. The Crowd is the best ever. And lou does the sound, which in 10 years of playing music has been the best I have ever experienced playing in. It was so good it threw me off for a little bit. 2 songs or 10 minutes. And they are really strict about this. Don't wine about it, just prepare for it. They draw names out of hat. So come prepared to play, but it might not hurt to have a back up plan. Sign up is fair. 6:30 put your name in the hat. Most of all don't give up if you're not called the first time, because aftr 3 times not called you are guaranteed a spot.

Good crowd, there is a drawing when you sign up. Usually a 50/50 chance to play. You get 10-12 minutes to do whatever. Pretty good music and a few good comics. Not bad at all. I recommend.
