The weekly Monday open mic is still jamming along (with Curt or I hosting). I always have a blast in this intimate pub, encountering musical friends, meeting new ones, and all the while marveling at all the talent that comes to play. Good stuff!
Ken Gutberlet (5/2008): One of the longest running open mics in Balto… maybe the longest. I've been playing LBs open mic for 10 yrs, before that I was tending bar for it. I cut my teeth on that open mic. I still go back regularly to try out new material. I recommend it, absolutely.
Gina DeLuca (7/2007): When im in baltimore, (I moved to new york) I always like to head to this open mic to try out new songs ive written… Its a cool spot, very baltimore, cool bar tender, good hosts, nice crowd, always a good time… Go!

Karyn Oliver (2/2007): I went to my first at this venue the other night. I found Ken to be a terrific host. It must have been a slow night as far as musicians go because he let me come back to play more later in the evening. I was quite impressed by the other musicians there that night. It had an Americana sort of vibe.
