- Hello! I wondered if anyone can sing at your open-mic nights, or if you've already got all the performers lined up? I'm a singer, and sing a lot of a cappella Celtic, gospel/spirituals, and classical/crossover/Italian music and am trying to find good places to sing. Thanks so much! :)

- I flew in from San Jose, Ca. To visit friends in Dallas, Georgia. My goal is to play in an open mic in every state and LA Bamba was my choice. There is no stage but plenty of area to play and it is well lit. Dylan MCs the event. In my case Dylan and TJ are skilled guitarist and bassist repectively. They happily sat in with me as I played 5 original songs they had never heard before and I really enjoyed myself. They are young, supportive, and easy going. While there is not enough room for drums I used my Beat buddy drum machine. If you need more than one mic or stand you should contact contact Dylan ahead of time. The link above takes you to his site then a look at his resume will get you his phone number to text him.
