Freedom Night!!! Free Speech, Free music style, free expression

Live at Joplin's Java and Ragtime Cafe

First Monday of the month Feb-May, plus more tba

Starting Monday Feb 6th, support your first amendment rights.

This open mic isn't just for the normal white person, it's for anyone, any style, and class.

Complete open forum, we only ask that you keep your speech to PG-13 language has requested by the establishment that is nice enough to let us speak our minds and our styles.

People from the left, people from the right. Our country started in a small room of people who were sick of the shit, now it's time to rebel again. Open minds, open thoughts.

To take part you must come to Joplin's Java and Ragtime cafe and fill out the sign in sheet, this is so we can make sure to be ready for what you want to do, and to make sure that the place is allowed to have that.

Keep in mind this place has kids in it at all times, we should be encouraging, and celebrating expression. We need to teach them to do it in a way that can be respectful.

Justin Benny hosts, but it's your night to shine. Time for the new celebrities, people that normal people can relate to. Lets crumble the established white boring, old Waukegan, and make it a transcendent representation of all people. Our Emerald City. Say what you want to say, if you think the city sucks say it on the stage, but they are allowed to respond. Make them hear you while they drink there designer beers, and work out on there oliptical machines.

All welcome regardless of race, color, creed, and sexual expression. All styles of music welcome, just be respectful of the place, and the people that run it.

This event is free, but we will have two tip jars, one for Lake County Entertainment and Arts, the other for the performers. We also ask that you buy stuff at the coffee shop, kids welcomed
