Great atmosphere and Renda has some great poetry, good performers and good food.

Well run open mic, varied performers, varied levels, a very, very young crowd, lots of in and out foot traffic, groups of fans entering and leaving with their favored performers, not a real sense of "audience", but a nice little coffee house.

This open mic is open to performers of all kinds: poets, singers, rappers, comedians, bands, funk, jazz, ska, punk, storytellers, harmonica, neo-soul, magicians, jugglers, etc.

There is a stage and a lighting system. This is a great place to record video of your performance. Bring your video camera and a tripod because the stage, the lighting, the acoustics, and the space are all perfect for video.

This is not just some average old coffee shop. They have beer on tap, microbrew bottled beers, and all sorts of food.
