How do I sign up for this deal. Is it just first come first serve? And can I play Christian music and covers or is supposed to just be original music?

I play electric guitar and my mom plays acoustic on our songs but i also play pure electric blues. Do they accept electric guitars , mom accompanients, and Austin Texas tourists? Thanks !

Miel, sorry you were offended by this but the only point that I was trying to make was that the description you gave of the people in general at this opne mike describes about 99.9 percent of the people at all open mikes in general so in a very subtle way I was not disagreeing with you but merely pointing out that this attitude by most people at open mics it's a given and we just have to accept it. I did't hear you perform but the reference to rookie wasn't meant to your performance but rather the apparent lack of acknowedgement that peoples attitudes at open mics suck in general. I hope that by clearifying this we can still be friends. peace.
