I have attended this open mic several times now and can report it has it all, in terms of an attractive and comfortable venue, great all-ages talent, and a really lovely audience for music or poetry. There has always been a strong music community in River Falls, and now, I think, thanks to Brickhouse Music, there is no dearth of real performing talent in this town when it comes to live acoustic music.
Wisconsin (1/2008): Bring a poem, bring a song, bring your voice… come along! Hot Spot is a trendy new venue with friendly staff and an inviting, creative atmosphere. For an evening of fun and entertainment, Hot Spot is the place to be!
