This open mike venue is not your "run-of-the-mill" showcase! When you visit, you will certainly see why. My singing partner, Vikki Dorazi, was delighted when we experienced the professional stage, lighting and sound system this establishment had to offer. Our first time at this busy venue was November 24, 2009 and we were excited to be a part of the lively crowd. We have performed in many entertainment-related situations and we both agreed that the HopMonk was definately suited to the seasoned professional. Sebastopol, California is a very small town but this restaurant/bar provides top-name entertainment worthy of a major city. Check-out their regular schedule to see the type of players who will be on the "marquee". Famous names abound from classic players you have grown to admire, to more contemporary artists of all genres. When you perform on the HopMonk stage, you too will feel like a celebrity. The Host, Bill DiCarli, inspires a great performance with his humorous wit, talent and showmanship.
