This was an awesome place for me to play for my first openmic in Bellingham. A really great spot. I am hoping to go whenever I can.

This is Bellingham's finest open mike for acoustic players and performers. The Honey Moon has good food and beverages (Mead is their specialty!) and the host, Jan Peters, is superb. He allows the musicians do their thing and manages the soundboard quite well. Music, spoken-word, young, old, girls & boys… they all come down to do their thing. Not a large club, so it never gets too noisy and the crowds are usually quite attentive and supportive. Sign up is a breeze. A do!

We maintain a listening and supportive atmosphere, and each set is 10-15 minutes long depending how packed the list is

Our door is accessed through the alley off of Maple Street. We're next to the back entrance of the Pepper Sisters restaurant, and adjacent to the Farmers Market Depot.
