It's official. This week's Open Mic, on March 28, will be an unplugged Open Jam.

This is an eeffort to meet other musicians that would not normally come to a regular open mic. Mandolins, violins, Mountain dulcimers, banjo's flutes penny whistles, you get the idea.

We sit around drink and jam together. No Mic, No stage No pressure. Just a jam session.

Heres the hitch, I'm still playing host, and I will pick some one sitting around or playing an instrument, and that person can play any song he/she wishes, or requests someone else to play/sing a song.

I will bring a little amp for the leader/singer.

I just want to remind performers they should come early 8:00-9:00 to sign up. This way I can estimate time and/or number of songs. The last few weeks there have been 8 or 9 performers. I've had to bring the number of songs down to 4 to get everyone in. But the first few got to present 5, because no one had signed up when they started.

Its been good the past few weeks. I am getting good feed back from customers at the Bar. We ain't scarin' the customers off. So come on down. As you can see, other musicians were joining in and helping each other out.

The food and service is pretty good too.
