- This place is the BOMB!!! Sign up for $7 and get fed. Great people! Great fun! Big enough stage for a 4 piece. Every time I was there there has been some great talent. Guitarists and comedy.(Some not so funny) I guess Lady has bad timing.

Hi, wanted to know how big the place is and if its possible to have singer, guitarist and drummer there.
Thank you, hope to hear from you
Tigran (7/2008)- It was mostly stand up last week. The same routines as the month before rehashed again. Other than the painful comedy though there's a great atmosphere. I won't be back soon though.
Lady (10/2006)- Ok I'll go out on a limb and be the first to state that, stand-up comics, should steer clear of music orientated open mics, unless they're willing to allow musicians to start showing up at The Comedy Store and devouring all their stage time. my 2cents
steve hodge (1/2006)- A lot of paaaaaainfully unfunny standup comedy by insightless half-wits. Attended on 11/8 and can't remember the last time I saw so many people desperately debasing themselves in front of an audience. One comic made sexually inappropriate squirm-inducing comments about the underage gals working behind the counter. Yick. A few singer/songwriters graced the stage, particularly a Londoner with an Aquilera-esque voice who hit some Mariah-worthy notes. Pity she only did one song. Sign-up requires a decision between a 3-minute (one song) set or 7 minutes. The 3-minute people get chosen first; then come the 7-minute people. $6 cover charge gets you a ticket you can redeem for food & beverage. Nice venue, though.
