- If you are acoustic, not only is it hard to hear but while you are trying to play they are running around you setting up for the next band to play.

- I played at open mike last night, or at least I tried. I have to say the hosts of the open mike are all really nice guys, but if you are an acoustic style player and singer this might not be the venue for you. This open mike is really for electric blues and rock. The music was fantastic, I'm just saying I don't think it is condusive to acoustic playing. And it seems like the folks that go to this jam already have a full band in place ready to go. Joe
