We ive in mount horeb, and I have a very talented 10 year old who would like some stage time. He is very talented, and loves to perform. The problem is- I would rather not bring him to a tavern on an evening. This sounds like a great option. He has lots that he can play but one of his favorite thing to do is improv with blues tracks. Would you be willing to make an exception on the blues rule on account of the circumstances?

- Very, very cool! I drove out from Racine and found a small tavern that was set up with a great system and super kind people. The owner, and awesome jamming guitarist Steve, let me start off and play as long as I wanted. After about 45 mns. he came up with his band and cranked out some awesome alt. country for an hour. Others then came up and performed. One of the coolest things was that when Steve played he had mics set up so patrons could join in a live perfomance… the people were really good too! Good equipment, great tunes and kind people! (Just take the left when Hiway G splits in Mt. Vernon!!!)

- Open mic for individuals or full band. PA, drums, etc. provided. Anything but blues (because Madison already has blues jams… this weekly event is for all the other talented musicians of other styles).
