Can someone provide me with a quick rundown on the format of this open mic? I'm a drummer who enjoys attending open mics and playing with a variety of musicians and playing a variety of styles. Is this more of a full band type of open mic or are individual players grouped together through a sign-up sheet?

There is a drum kit, bass, electric guitars, and a small PA w/monitors. Full bands play, as well as individuals, and many times it turns into a pick-up band of whoever happens to be hangin' out… very open playing enviornment, & I've heard everything from traditional Irish to country to full on old school punk to experimental funk-jazz jams. Lots of fun!
