We just recently celebrated the one year annivesary of this montly open poetry reading on August 25th, 2007.
Renda Writer (9/2007): This event is only for poets. Located on the West side of Military Trail, just South of Yamato Rd., next to Lynn University. In the South Building, on the 2nd floor. The Gardens Memorial Park is a mausoleum (an indoor cemetary). The deceased are buried in the walls. However, not a dark or gloomy place at all. Marble floors, high vaulted ceilings, artwork on the walls, bright, etc. - like a big palace. Open to poets of all kinds: slam poets, spoken word poets, comedic poets, dramatic poets, literary poets, haiku masters, sonnet sayers, etc.
