Is it Okay to bring a guitar and amp for blues? I do some originals and some covers, not loud -- solo act. It gives a break to the pianist. I always give a tip to the pianist anyway -- and they are very professional. Dispite the comments herein, I FOUND Keri Kelsey TO BE THE MOST CHARMING AND TALENTED MC AROUND. She was very inspiring to me personally and her dedication is unparalleled. I would go just to see her. She is an act in and of itself. I also like the blond hair style. Cheers.

I'm not sure what happened with the other post, but I got there around 8pm, and there was a sign up list that was followed to the letter. They did one number per person, and then cycled back through the list, as it was long. Everyone there was extremely supportive of any material - there were standards and originals performed. The accompanist was excellent. There is a $5 cover plus $8/two drink minimum, so you're paying $13 guaranteed - unless you have dinner reservations. I will definitely go back.

this open mic is run by haters if you sound ok the blonde hostess will not call you until later if her friends arrive before you. Too expensive not worth the trouble
