Making the bar sit up and take notice is difficult, but the host is nice and competent, and the other performers were very friendly. The TVs are a serious distraction though, there's one right in front of you on stage, and I had a hard time not watching it while I was playing. There is also one right next to the stage, so people who appear to be watching you may actually be watching the TV.

I enjoyed the open mike, but only the other performers and their friends were paying attention as far as I could tell.

The host is cool, but the crowd is more focused on drinks, conversation, and the TV. Maybe you can turn some heads.
