Strictly amateur, acoustic vocal music in a casual, supportive musical community for sharing songs.
Munchies, tea and coffee, admission by donation. Come to listen, socialize, or come to sing. There's no pressure to perform or to perform perfectly. Format varies between song circles, feature performances or open mike.
Song circles, each person gets a chance to sing a song (with or without guitar backing) or pass.
Open stages allow singers and musicians to present one or two songs. Open-stage performers sign up at the beginning of the evening for a spot on the slate.
Feature concerts spotlight the talents of one performer or group.
