Designed for poetry, not musicians. However, it has a friendly host and there is typically a large and appreciative crowd. Not at all intimidating to this solo guitarist who is new to the stage.

mikey (1/2008) Hi there, Yes… we are open to all forms of expression. We've had some great musicians play. Acoustic or plug in. And we do still have features occasionally -- poetry and music. It begins every Thursday at 8pm Aimee (3/2008): Yeah, not so much. Friendly host, but they've removed the featured musician portion of the night. Cool poetry open mic, and they accept musicians, but the format's not really set up for it: 3 minute rounds / one piece and then going around again - about 2-3 times. If you need more than one mic, bring it.
