They have sign ups starting at 7 but when you go to sign up the 'regular' performers are already filled in and there are hardly any spots ever open. This isn't an open mic at all. It is very unwelcoming to new performers and you have to Pay to get in
reply to this comment Jeff (11/2010): This open mic is a lot of fun. The best atmosphere for an open mic I've ever been to. Definitely worth the $2 it costs. Small crowd in the summer but it's picking up in the fall. Rap, comedy, poetry in addition to the acoustic music.
