- I showed up late due to schedule. The venue is not huge nor tiny. The Bartender that nite was courteous and mindful. It didn't seem to be all that busy, but the musical talent that comes out is great! The Host runs a good open mic, AND he wipes down the mics which is something I've not seen yet. The people were good! The musicians were definitely on their game. Just an overall excellent experience. Got to do a free-Jam with Sheltered Turtle. The host, Chris, was super cool and does a good job on organizing this open mic event for everyone!

- The host is Chris L. Great guy!

- Yet again, this area proves to have some of the friendliest, open, appreciative musicians AND audience around! The place had more audience members than musicians, a rarity for open mics in my experience. The bar was essentially full the whole night, and many of the tables were occupied. The playing space is a bit small but perfect for a solo or duet act. The sound system provided is plenty loud for the venue, and the bar staff was good-spirited, funny, and treated you right! The talent was great with some people who could REALLY sing and play. As with any open mic, the length of your set will depend on how many people there are in line to play, but the average tonight was 4-5 tunes. Food was tasty too! Overall, a VERY pleasant experience!

I was wondering what type of acts you are looking for? What type of sound system? How many songs could I expect to play?
Thanks
