Josh is a tremendous guy, and has been running this open mike for over 10 years. The night I went there, there weren't that many players, so everybody got 4 songs and then another round. That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that the Ein-Stein is a noisy bar, and virtually everybody has their back to you watching a hockey game or engaged in a conversation. And, there's always a noisy pool game going on down the bar. So, you'd better have to have the WOW factor for this room to get them to quiet down an listen to you. It's a really good test for those who want to graduate from highly attentive coffeehouses to playing the bar scene.
