Singer/songwriter Kathy Lowe will be the featured performer at Dunbarton’s Spireside Coffee House on May 19. The New London musician will perform original songs on guitar, dulcimer and drum. Also well-known in NH as a children’s performer, Kathy’s program at Spireside is for teens and adults. Open mic performers before and after the feature.
Joyce Ray (5/2012): In April Spireside hosts a musician's open jam from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Open mic opportunities start at 8:30. Complementary admission.
Joyce Ray (4/2012): Jon Godfrey from Candia will be the featured performer on March 17. Jon favors folk music, performing a wide variety of old favorites on his acoustic guitar. He often introduces his audience to songs that make a social statement. Jon adds commentary to his songs, providing the audience with relevant background information.
Joyce Ray (3/2012): Southern NH performer Steve Z will feature February 18 at Spireside. Well known to music lovers around the Manchester-Nashua area, Steve treats a loyal following to his timeless blend of folk, rock, country and bluegrass classics, interwoven with evocative original ballads, and all delivered in his resonant, trademark Steve Z baritone. He has recorded two CDs, The Girl with the Pearl Earring (2010) and Just Come on In (2009).
