The house band is FABULOUS! Unfortunately, it seems the smoking ban enacted last year in Virginia, is not enforced here. If you are a singer but not a smoker, it is simply intolerable. And the more the crowd likes you, the closer the smokers get to the performance area. I simply can't go back for more pulmonary abuse… and… my hair REEKED of cigarette smoke and my and clothing, down to my underwear needed to be stored in a sealed bag to keep the cigarette smell away from anything else in my home, until it could be laundered… shame too, because like I said, the house band (who will jam with you if you're good enough and compensate for you if you're not), is OUTSTANDING.
