My name is Marco Viccaro
I'm a singer/guitarist from Rome Italy
I am here until mid MARCH.I am looking for a venue to showcase my music.
What do I need to do partecipate for open mic night??
Thank you ,Marco Viccaro
MARCO (3/2010)- Great pianist on Sunday nights. Gotta sing with him. The atmosphere was lively, like a cabaret and the bartenders are also singers and entertainers as well.
Terry (1/2007)- Not exactly open -- not in the sense of say, Williamsburg. The pianist/MC accompainies singing waitstaff, and patrons are encouraged to get up and sing a song or two. It's not for poets, singer-songwriters, oddball soloists (my own act) or others outside the defined area. I usually think of this as a "piano bar". Anyhow, that was the picture in late October, '06.
Alan Siegal (10/2006)- I agree, a great piano bar and the bartenders rock! But it's also a great open mike, especially for piano player because they hav a nice grand piano!
www.alevlenz.com (6/2006)- Great piano bar with singing bartenders, a lively and well-versed emcee and a 2-drink minimum. Drinks are reasonable for the area, a Ketel One and Cranberry was $8. Nice atmosphere for beginners and old pros alike.
Donna (5/2006)
