would you guys let a 19 year old in to play or would you prefer 21 and up?
Trevor (12/2009): I have been involved with this jam for about a year and we try to make sure all are satisfied. Good people, cheap drink prices. Very nice room to play in with good equipment and sound. Come on down and check it out.
gary miller (10/2009): This Jam is mostly geared towards Blues with an edge or even a touch of classic rock, it is not uncommon to also hear a tinge of Rockabilly but this crowd is very accepting to all sorts of music. The house band is a band called Bad Habit and they are surely one of the leading blues bands in the Detroit area if you have never heard them. There are a good number of players here on a weekly basis with a long history of playing, writing, or even touring. If you are an intermediate player you will not be pushed to the door but it is recommended that you are atleast an experienced player to some level before you step up on the stage. "The Dom" has cheap drinks and the hall is connected to the bar so you are pretty much surrounded by other jammers and listeners. If you are looking for a good hearted jam on Tuesday night you have found your new location, otherwise, you can see most of this same group of guys for an intense blues jam at Kelly's Bar in Hamtramck on Friday Night. Hope to see you regardless.
