The Dickens Opera House Sunday Night Bands-Only Open Stage is intended as an open mic for local bands to showcase their talent on our historic 1881 stage in a room truly built for sound. This is an open mic for bands, not a paid gig. Any genre of music is welcome. We ask that the band have 3 members or more and can play for 45 minutes to an hour. The bands need to supply their own instruments, including drum kit. We do provide our in-house 32-channel PA system and sound engineer. While not necessary, bands are welcome to bring their own amplifiers. We can mic or DI your amplifiers for the house mix.

Each band needs to schedule a specific date and time in advance via email. We have 2 time slots, 7:00pm and 8:30pm, available on most Sundays on a first come basis.

Due to the increased number of bands showing up to perform at our Monday Night Open Mic, we’ve decided to try a new concept… A Bands-Only Open Stage on Sunday Night.

We are going to limit each night to three bands. Each band will have 45 minutes to one hour to play. Bands must call Brian Rezac to schedule for a specific date and time slot.

Any genre of music is welcome. We ask that bands be at least a three piece and have 45 minutes of music.

We play from the stage of this historic 1881 opera house… a room truly built for sound. We have a 32-channel PA system, plenty of monitors and microphones. You can run directly through our system or we can mic your own amps.
